VIII International Student Conference in Foreign Languages 

Economics, Management and International Interaction: Regional and Global Trends

About the conference

Since 2017, the Department of Foreign Languages of Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management annually organizes the conference for student community to discuss the results of their research work in foreign languages. During the conference workshops, its participants gain experience in presenting scientific reports in foreign languages, discuss best practices of dealing with industry-related issues in different countries, receive feedback from experts, including those from abroad, and integrate into the global academic community. 

The geography of the conference participants is expanding from year to year. In 2023, the conference welcomed 156 students from 20 universities worldwide and 50 experts from 11 countries: Russia, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The workshops were held in 6 languages: English, German, French, Chinese, Japanese and Russian as a foreign language. The conference participants discussed such issues as current trends in global and regional economy, information technology in economics and business, prospects for international cooperation, promising investment opportunities, financial crises, global tourism and many others.
