The World Youth Festival is a large-scale event that would take place in Sochi by the presidential decree
The festival will host about 20,000 Russian and foreign young leaders in business, media, international cooperation, culture, science, education, volunteering and charity, sports and various areas of public sector, as well as teenagers representing several children’s organizations and associations.

Maria Eluma, a 3rd year economics student at NSUEM and AIS president in Novosibirsk, participated in the meeting of the Association of International Students (AIS). The meeting took place at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in Moscow.

The Department of Sociology at NSUEM organized and held the Siberian Sociological Forum with international participation for the fifth time. The Forum was attended by 314 participants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk, Ivanovo, Volgograd, Grodno (Belarus), Beijing (China) and Abuja (Nigeria).
